La 76ª edición de los Premios Emmy ya es historia, y como tal, ha varias predicciones cumplidas. Sin embargo, siempre hay espacio para alguna que otra sorpresa, y esta vez no fue la excepción.
Fueron dos las producciones y estrellas de la pantalla que llegaban como multinominadas y, por lo tanto, favoritas; entre ellas, The Bear y Shōgun. Así que como era esperable, más de un galardón se llevaron. No obstante, ambas sufrieron algunas caídas.
Si bien «El Oso» hizo ganadores a tres rostros de su reparto, el show no pudo vencer como «Mejor serie de comedia»; mientras que la serie histórica de Hulu perdió el Emmy de «Mejor guion en una serie dramática» frente a Slow Horses de Apple.
Si se trata de las categorías de miniseries, series antológicas o películas para televisión, la conversada Baby Reindeer se consagró tal cual adelantaban los medios especializados. Aunque al mismo Jodie Foster logró obtener su primer Emmy, gracias a True Detective: Night Country.
